Hello everyone! Welcome to the Justice Academy blog! I'm so thrilled to connect with you all here. I'm Lilly Justice, the founder and educator at Justice Academy.

I've always been passionate about helping others, and for years, my career was dedicated to just that. As an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) with a Master's in Professional Counseling, I spent years working in communities, schools and hospitals, helping families navigate mental health challenges. This experience was incredibly rewarding, but it also gave me a front-row seat to a problem: too many children were not receiving the emotional and mental health support they needed within the traditional education system.

Seeing this gap—a critical need for holistic well-being to be integrated into learning—is what ultimately motivated me to homeschool my own children. I wanted to take matters into my own hands, prioritizing their overall well-being and ensuring their education would also equip them with the real-world skills they need to succeed.

My professional background is diverse, spanning healthcare, business, and leading social justice initiatives. Throughout it all, I've always been drawn to creativity and finding joy in celebrating life. In fact, I was even considering starting a birthday party planning business at one point! It was this realization—that learning, too, could be a celebration—that sparked the idea for Justice Academy.

We began our journey right here in our home and backyard with a few families, and my kids, Kiki and Kai, have loved every minute of it. My hope is to share this joy and passion for integrated, whole-child learning with you by providing these learning packets. Our goal is to bring a fun learning experience to young children, showing them they don't have to be confined by what the public school system built. There’s nothing that brings me more joy than watching children learn and grow in a supportive environment, and I believe my mission is to help build a happy and healthy childhood that creates a love of learning for life. I want to equip all children with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to succeed and make a positive impact on the world, so they can be absolutely super!
